EveryHuman - Putting the adaptive in clothing

EveryHuman is a company that is making waves in the Australian e-fashion market for all the right reasons. Adaptive clothing, a new sector - apparel designed for one in five Australians living with a disability, who historically might struggle finding clothing and accessories they want to wear which also meet their needs.

EveryHuman’s mission, freedom to express: A Universal Right! They’re driven by improving the dressing experience of the millions of Australians, making things easier whilst offering better choice where typically options might be limited. Everyone should have access to a high-quality, stylish and easy-to-use clothing. EveryHuman understands that fashion is a language that speaks for itself. It allows us to express ourselves without saying a word. Fashion also has the capacity to make us feel confident which is also really powerful.

Given the wide range of needs, adaptive clothing is just as varied. Combinations of zippers, elastic, magnetic fastenings as well as specially cut and tailored pieces, for example better suited for seated wear. In light of COVID, they’re also offering lip reader face masks. A face mask that ensures all conversations are inclusive!

The Australian based online seller stock adaptive wear designed by both major labels such as Nike and Converse as well as local brands like Melbourne based Caring Clothing, so they’re even a support of local business! Their products are also covered by the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), enabling participants to purchase adaptive clothing using their low cost assistive technology support budget. In our book, any business whose main mission is improve the lives of everyday Australians is amazing and close to our heart.
